Large Munsterlander Rescue was formed by Rae Massey in Doncaster in 1980, as part of the Large Munsterlander Club when it became clear that there was a need to help those dogs that were for one reason or another, needing to be found new homes. Rae then set up some kennelling facilities at her home. |
After Rescue became independent from the LM Club a new team of helpers, supporters and friends were put together to try to cover the country for the ease of transportation, home checks and of course the all important fund raising.
Our quarterly magazine was founded in the early days and this is sent as far as Japan and Australia to our friends there. Unfortunaly the magazine was discontinued in 2022.
